"We started a small handicrafts shop when we got married. Then it occurred to us to create our own designs, and from there emerged our shop, the Luna Gatuna. Little by little it is becoming known thanks to the Enart exposition.
"We make all of our own products, which used to be of metal but now are of wood. We also assemble them, line them with paper of different shapes and colors, and then finish them with light layers of varnish. Right now we have more than twenty different types of paper.
"The objective for our creations is that they be useful as well as artistic for both home and office. We make, for example, chests, frames, pencil cases, etc. We want our pieces to have a significance that's very Mexican, full of color, with representative paper, like
amate [from the rubber plant] or stamps with typical figures from Mexican culture."
